My husband, 8 y/o son, and myself will be traveling for the first time to Disney at the end of May. I am to the point where I can start making reservations. In your opinion is it better to do TS, some character, meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner?

Howdy Brandy!  We currently have a 7 year old and a 4 year old.  For us, lunch is our best option and it all has to do with our kiddos.

We love the breakfast buffet at Hollywood & Vine but trying to get everyone up and moving to get to the reservation in time can be challenging at times after a long day in the theme parks the day before.

Dinner can be challenging sometimes as well.  "We're tired, when will our food be here..."  Our kiddos are really good kids but as you know, Walt Disney World can be very stimulating and when they have to stop and sit still late in the day, it can be difficult.  Our kiddos go to bed pretty early when we are home.  The nonstop excitement of Disney creates some tired kiddos in the evening.

I think my best suggestion is to think about your family.  What time do you typically eat?  Are you early risers?  When do you think you would most enjoy your meals?  You might even mix it up a bit but primarily reserve the time that you think will work best for all of you.

I know you will have a great experience regardless of which time you select!

Thanks so much for your question and please let me know if you need any further information as you plan your vacation. Have a magical day!
