My husband, son and 2 grandsons (both 5) will be doing the Star Wars Guided Tour. Are there points in the tour that my daughter and I might want to try to meet up with them or should I plan for her and I to spend the day on our own?

    Hi Tina!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question. How exciting that your husband, son, and the young Jedi apprentices will be able to experience the Star Wars Guided Tour during your vacation!

Walt Disney World’s tours are totally immersive and action-packed, so it will likely be hard to coordinate a time to meet up during the experience. Because the tour includes Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, I recommend having your son or husband text you or your daughter with the details of when that will take place, as you will not want to miss seeing the boys as they learn the ways of the Force and take on some of the most powerful members of the Dark Side. Watching my children train and go up against the Dark Side villains was one of my favorite things I’ve experienced at Walt Disney World and an experience we still talk about all the time.

Tina, while your Star Wars fans are off on their adventure, there is so much you and your daughter can enjoy at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Have a grown-up meal at the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant, take in a show, and pop into the unique shops that line Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards. I also suggest taking a walk through Walt Disney Presents, where you can learn all about Disney's past, present, and future. You all will have so much to talk about when the tour is over!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
    Robyn
