Cathy from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

my husband son & I were Disneyland flex passholders, now canceled. We want to take balance owed & put towards Disney World tickets or annual passes May 8-16, 2021. Also how do we get park reservations & arrange for safe food with food allergies

Welcome to planDisney, Cathy! Thank you for bringing a great question our way!

As a fellow Legacy Flex Passholder, I was saddened by the news that our beloved Annual Passport program will be sunsetting. But, like you, I am softening the blow by planning a trip to “The Most Magical Place on Earth!”

As you already know, a pro rata refund will be issued for your Annual Passports if you are entitled to one. You will receive a refund in the form of payment used to make the purchase. So once you receive your refund, you can certainly use those funds towards your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Vacation packages can easily be booked online! If you’d like some extra help call (407) WDISNEY (407- 934-7639) to speak to a Walt Disney World vacation planning expert.

Once you’ve booked your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and purchased theme park tickets, make your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. This reservation is required in addition to your valid admission ticket. You can make a reservation for one theme park each day of your trip and reservations can be made through January 2022. Reservations are limited. So, I recommend making one as soon as you’ve purchased tickets and linked them to your My Disney Experience account.

Disney is the most wonderful place to visit when you have a food allergy or dietary restriction. They make it so easy to enjoy delicious food throughout your entire trip! If you decide you’d like a snack from a food cart just ask the Cast Member to provide an ingredient list for your review. When dining at a quick-service or table-service restaurant, simply ask to speak to a chef prior to placing your order. They will discuss the food options that meet your dietary restrictions and provide modifications when necessary. When using Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering on the My Disney Experience App, go to the Allergy-Friendly section to see which meals meet your requirements prior to ordering. You can always ask a Cast Member for help if you need it.

Thanks for dropping by planDisney! I know you'll have a memorable vacation! If you think of any more questions prior to your trip, please don’t hesitate to bring them our way!
