    My husband has a simple phone. Everyone else in our travel party has smartphones. Can the Navigator App be used to text to a Wave Phone?

    Thanks so much for writing!  How exciting that you are planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation with an extended party.  Traveling with others makes the voyage extra magical in my opinion.  You are correct that in order to use the Navigator App, you will need to download it via either the Apple App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices, and that, therefore, a smart phone is necessary.  While you cannot send messages from the Navigator App to Wave phones, each stateroom will come with two phones, so as long as your husband has one, and someone else in your party carries the other, you should be just fine.  The Wave phones also work on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.
