My husband and I are signed up to do the Disney dive Quest at Epcot on July 4th at 5pm. Will we not be able to get inside the Epcot park for the fireworks after our dive quest? Yes I know we need a ticket.

Hi Regina! Thanks for reaching out to planDisney with your question.

Your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner, and so is your underwater adventure. I just love exploring the aquarium at The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Like Moana, the ocean calls to me and I love to look at the fascinating sea creatures. In fact, I've always wondered what it would be like to swim along with them. EPCOT DiveQuest lets you experience just that. This is definitely a bucket list item for me but since I'm not SCUBA certified, I won't be able to experience it just yet.

At this time, a theme park ticket to EPCOT is not required to experience EPCOT DiveQuest. However, as you've pointed out, to enter EPCOT before or after your experience, you would need a valid theme park ticket and a Theme Park Reservation. As long as you have all of that squared away, you're more than welcome to enter the park after your DiveQuest experience to enjoy the nighttime spectacular

Regina, make sure to check in for your DiveQuest experience at Guest Relations outside of the Main Entrance of EPCOT at least 15 minutes before your start time. The entire experience takes about 2 hours. When looking at the calendar for EPCOT Forever, the current nighttime spectacular at the park, it should start at 9 p.m., meaning you should have plenty of time afterward to see this nostalgic show on World Showcase Lagoon! Just keep in mind that times are subject to change and since it's an outdoor show, it can be canceled due to inclement weather.

I hope you have a wonderful visit to the resort and enjoy your time swimming in the aquarium. Not many people get to experience the aquarium from the animals' perspective so be sure to relish every minute!

If you have any other questions, please reach out again. We're always happy to help!

Life under the sea is better than anything they got up there,
    Matt
