Without knowing details of your vacation (where you booked, package vs. room only) I am afraid I cannot give you a definite answer. If you booked directly through Disney, give them a call and see if a switch is possible. (If you booked through a travel agent or third party, you will want to get in contact with them.)
If a change is possible, I suggest
Port Orleans French Quarter. This moderate resort is relatively small, so everything is just a brief walk. I always request buildings 4 or 5 due to their close proximity to just about everything at the resort. You can take a lovely walk along the Sassagoula River to sister resort Riverside. Or relax poolside in the evening as horse drawn carriages pass by.
Disney Springs is just a quick boat ride away (although I suggest taking the buses back to your resort as lines for the return trip can be quite long!)
There is a pool side bar and a lounge in the lobby so you can relax with a beverage in the evening, or head to the bakery for some made to order beignets. You might even enjoy a movie under the stars or roast some marshmallows by the campfire.
Do not get me wrong,
Art of Animation is an amazing resort. But for a quick get-away with your Prince Charming, you might find French Quarter a bit quieter and more relaxing. Wherever you stay, I hope your vacation is magical!
