Hello, Teresa!
I’m really grateful to you and your husband for your service and for your sacrifices for our country. That service aligns so well with the
deep patriotism that permeates the
historical foundation of the Disneyland Resort.
To honor those who have served in the U.S. Military, the Disneyland Resort often offers special
discounts on tickets and on
Disneyland Resort Hotel stays. These special offers are available exclusively to those who are Active Duty, current Reservists, Retirees or 100% Service-Related Medically Retired.
The good news is that if your husband’s Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC) indicates eligibility for Morale, Welfare, and Recreation offerings (MWR) and commissary benefits, then he will have access to discounted Disneyland Resort tickets at your nearest Military Ticket Sales Office. Usually, some Military discount tickets are available at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance ticket booths. Current military identification is required for the purchase and redemption of these tickets. However, my understanding is that a VHIC that identifies 100% Service-Related Medically Retired status and declares the MWR and commissary benefits may also be presented.
I appreciate your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Teresa. I hope you’ll stop by again with any other questions you may have.
