Hello! My husband and I both serve in the military and I was wondering if you guys had any special deals for military members? We would absolutely love to bring our kiddos to Disneyland/Disneyworld. I appreciate your help. Thank you!

    Welcome to planDisney, Courtney!

I'm so glad you found us here as you prepare for a visit to The Happiest Place On Earth! 2024 is going to be an exciting year at the Disney Parks, and the fun has already begun! Personally, I love exploring the Disneyland Resort in California with my little Mouseketeer during special seasons like Valentine's, Lunar New Year, and the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. Not to mention the upcoming attraction, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, arriving in the Fall.

So Courtney, whenever I'm in search of the latest and greatest deals, I always turn to the "Offers & Discounts" page on each of the Official Disney websites. Currently at the California resort, there are special room rates at Disneyland hotels throughout 2024. Active or retired members of the US military, including the National Guard, Reservists, the US Coast Guard, US Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service, and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, as well as eligible military spouses with a valid and active US military ID, can enjoy these special rates for most nights from now until December 2024. Plus, there are also 2024 Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets that are up for grabs!

As for the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, there are worlds to explore for military families like yours! Shades of Green is fantastic—it's an Armed Forces Recreation Center right on Walt Disney World Resort property, offering specially priced Magic Your Way tickets. Ordering through their website gets you fully activated tickets in the mail. Once you've got those tickets, you can link them to your My Disney Experience account for a stress-free vacation. Check out their FAQs for any lingering questions – they're the real deal when it comes to these special military rates.

Shades of Green is also a solid resort option. It's close to Magic Kingdom, packed with family-friendly perks, and the guest rooms are spacious– all at a fantastic rate for those who qualify.

I hope this info was helpful, Courtney! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me again. I'd love to share more of my favorite tips and suggestions for visiting the Disney Parks!

    See ya real soon,
    Danielle
