Hi Sharon!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question –– I'm happy to help! There are so many great tech tools when it comes to planning and navigating a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, but sometimes it can be a little confusing to understand exactly how everything works together. Luckily, most things are pretty simple, once you know where to look. Let me walk you through the process of sharing your Walt Disney World theme park admission with other members of your traveling party to make sure that everyone can enjoy their time in the parks, even when you're not together as one big group.
If you and your husband are each using the
My Disney Experience mobile app on your individual devices, you should both be able to access your tickets, as long as your accounts are connected in the app. To do this, you'll both need to open the My Disney Experience app on your device and tap on the three lines in the bottom-right corner. Next, you'll each need to scroll down and select "My Profile". On the next screen, one of you will need to tap "Show My Linking Code" to open a personalized QR code, while the other person taps on "Friends & Family List" and scrolls down to select "Add a Guest". After selecting "Scan their linking code", follow the onscreen prompts to scan the first person's QR code and link your accounts. After that, you'll be able to create a Disney MagicMobile pass to access your tickets directly from your device's mobile wallet.
However, if you and your husband aren't using separate My Disney Experience accounts, don't worry –– he can create a
Disney MagicMobile pass with his app for you and your daughter to share, which can be sent directly to your smartphone. To do this, he can tap "Disney MagicMobile" in the app's main menu and select the blue "+" sign in the top-right corner to create a new pass. On the next screen, he can select the names of the passes to create and follow the onscreen prompts to create the pass and add it to his digital wallet. After this has been done, return to the Disney MagicMobile screen, tap "Select Passes to Share" and then tap "Share via Messages" this will allow your husband to send you passes to you via text message. Once you receive them, you'll be able to save these passes to your phone's own digital wallet for you to use throughout your visit. Also, if you're already at Walt Disney World and you need additional assistance, you can always stop by any
Guest Relations location where a Cast Member will be happy to assist you.
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney, Sharon. I hope this helped to answer your question and I'm wishing you lots of pixie dust during your Walt Disney World Resort visit!
Have a Magical Day,
Amy
