M husband has a seminar at the World and while he is in classes i would love to get a makeover, ie new hair style , color and new make up. where do you recommend I go? I really want somewhere that tells me what ineed to have done, thanks

Hi, Laura! Aren't you a romantic?! I think you have a great idea going...let me be your Fairy Godmother by giving you a little further direction.

First, call the The Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club (407/824-2332) to explain what you would like to do. I've booked a facial there...which was wonderful! Yet, I'm not sure if they do make up application.  You'll need to discuss that with them, and don't forget to print the money-saving coupon from their site. While you're there, use the great health/fitness facilities and schedule a massage, too!  You'll look and feel fabulous!

Next, call my friends at The Ivy Trellis hair salon just a few steps away on the 2nd floor of The Grand Floridian (407/824-3000).  They do a fantastic job with hair cuts, color and styling, but you'll definitely want to schedule an appointment for all that you want to do on a day when your husband is preoccupied!

Also, there is really great boutique shopping at The Grand Floridian...your new look will require a new outfit, too! Right?! Then, round out the evening by booking a romantic Specialty Cruise or a dinner at Victoria & Albert's. (OK...now, I'm getting jealous!)

I hope you have a wonderful time with your husband on your Walt Disney World get-away! Best wishes for a restful day for you and a romantic evening with him!
