    My husband and I will be running the Wine and Dine Half in November 2012. My husband's 40th birthday is the day of the race. Are there any rundisney options to help him celebrate?

    Hi Elizabeth!

    The Wine and Dine Half Marathon is a perfect way to celebrate a birthday.  The pride of finishing a half marathon followed by an awesome post-race party is the perfect combination.

    While there aren't really any official "runDisney" birthday celebrations, here is a great link that has ideas for celebrating birthdays at Disney World. 

    I think eating and drinking his way around Epcot after the race will be an awesome celebration!  If it was my husband, I would be sure to get everyone around us at the starting line to join in a chorus of "Happy Birthday".  The races have such a fun atmosphere that I am sure everyone would be happy to sing along.
