    My husband is running his first marathon at Disney in Jan. '09. Where would be the best place for my sons and I to see him on the course?

    Hi Marie,

    How exciting for your husband!!  I ran my first marathon at WDW 2 years ago.  I think the most special place to watch the runners is on Main Street USA.  He will pass by earlier than the park opens, but you will be able to get in as a marathon spectator.  My strong recommendation is to get there 30 minutes earlier than you think he will pass.  In the next few months your husband will get a packet of information about the marathon.  It will give you all the spectator sites and include information about spectator transportation.  I think you will all have an amazing time.
