My husband and I are running the disneyworld 1/2 marathon in January. Its my first 1/2 marathon ever :) We were wondering about eating befor the race will thier be somewhere where we can get food that early . We are staying at the art of animation resort!

Hi Amanda!  Congratulations to you and your husband!  My husband and I love going on race weekend trips!

I know you will love the new Art of Animation Resort!  It is amazing!

There will be food and drink vendors set up at the starting area early before the race.  You can buy your breakfast when you get there.  Another idea is to go to the resort general store the day before the race.  You can find some breakfast type foods (cereal, bagels, fruit, etc.) and keep it in your room.  That way you can take it along with you to the race.  I like to buy a bagel and peanut butter, then take it with me on the bus.  I usually buy a cup of coffee and maybe a muffin and sit and eat it at the starting area.  I like to get there really early to avoid traffic and to let my food digest.  There is also a DJ playing great music that will get you  pumped up and ready to run!

Let me know if you have any other questions!
