Hello!! My husband is going to run the WDW marathon 2012. Is it better for our family (8 people between 4-70 years old) to visit the parks the week before or the week after the marathon. We are coming from sweden and we are so excited for this trip

Congratulations on the upcoming marathon as well as your Walt Disney World vacation!

Crowd levels drop low by January 3rd and remain low until Martin Luther King weekend which begins January 14th. Depending on how many days you'll be touring the parks, you may want to tour a few days before and a few days after the Marathon. Otherwise, just make sure that you are planning park days for after January 3rd and before January 14th.

The weekend of New Year's (December 31 - January 2nd) will have premium crowds and prices.
