Hello, my husband will run the full marathon on Jan. 2021 If we stay in a Disney Hotel, is it necessary to go the park?, I mean he'll be training when we get there and at the end he'll be exhausted, so is it possible to only go to the marathon?

    Hi Salma!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! So happy to hear that your husband is going to participate in a RunDisney Marathon! Yes, it is possible to only go to the marathon. When I participated in a RunDisney Marathon, I was not required to go to the parks or purchase park tickets. If you prefer staying at your Disney Resort Hotel and not visit a theme park, that can be a lot of fun too! One of the things I love to do with my family on a day we don't visit a theme park, is to resort hop or visit other Disney Resort Hotels. We enjoy trying the different restaurants and visiting the different shops in each resort. I also want to recommend that you visit Disney Springs, where you will find many restaurants, stores and great entertainment!

Since you are sending us this question from Mexico, I wanted to also let you know that the Disney Parks Moms Panel is now answering questions in Spanish!
