My husband will be returning from a deployment in Iraq in May 2012. Can you tell me when the rates for 2012 will be available? Also, if we purchase military discount tickets and stay at a Disney resort, are we eligible for the dining plan?

Hi Laura! I'll be happy to assist you with these questions. You may certainly take advantage of Disney's Armed Forces Salute Promotion. Please be advised that in order to apply the savings discount, the eligible service member, or the service member's spouse, or unremarried widow(er) must be present with military ID in hand to purchase and activate tickets. Should you choose to stay in a Disney Resort, you will be eligible to add any of the Disney Dining Plans. Reservation information for 2012 bookings has not yet been announced. If we follow general historical trends, 2012 Rates and Packages will most likely be announced sometime in August of 2011. However, I would strongly encourage you to check Disney's website here for more information regarding 2012 Rates. Please let me know if I may be of any further assistance. Have a memorable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
