My husband just returned home from a yr long deployment and missed out on our daughters first yr., She is now 20 months and very active... is there any recommended father daughter type activities so they can build memories since he missed out on so many?

    Hi Lauren,
First, thank you. Your family's sacrifices during your husband's deployment are appreciated and I'm thrilled to hear of his safe return. Welcome home!

Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to build new memories and capture lost ones as well. Don't underestimate the little things:

-Dad spending time in the kiddie pool with his little mermaid
-sharing a ride on It's A Small World in the Magic Kingdom
-sharing a Mickey-shaped premium ice cream bar and taking pictures of their messy smiles
-spending father-daughter time at the resort playground
-watching a parade while savoring a sticky bag of cotton candy
-waving at the elephants from the Kilimanjaro Safari ride in the Animal Kingdom
-a haircut at the barbershop in the Magic Kingdom
-meeting a favorite princess in the Magic Kingdom
-if open, soar together on Dumbo

Take lots of pictures and make magical memories!
