My husband just retired from the military, are there any military discounts at this time.? Thanks for your help.

I am not aware of any current military discounts being offered by Disney.  As a retiree, your husband (and those he sponsors) is eligible to stay at Shades of Green, the Department of Defense owned and operated recreation center located on WDW property.  I stayed there in 2005 and found the resort to be an excellent value.  We stayed in a room that had been recently refurbished.  The rooms were spacious enough for our family of five.  Also notable was the gorgeous view of the golf course from our balcony.  Shades of Green also offers discounted park admission tickets to those that can provide proof of eligibility.  For more information, you might want to check out the Shades of Green website at www.shadesofgreen.org.

Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
