    My husband is retired from the military. I was honorably discharged. He is not coming on trip due to age and health- can I use retirement spouse card for discounts

    Eligible service members can enjoy special offers, and these benefits extend to their spouses, as long as you both have a valid ID. I've personally made reservations using my military spouse ID card without any issues. Be sure to explore all the special offers for service members; my favorite is the new Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket, now available. You can purchase tickets at your local military base or on-site at Shades of Green Resort. If you're going through Shades of Green, you can also plan ahead and use their online order form.

    If you're not familiar with all the available discounts, I highly recommend calling Disney and speaking with a Cast Member. They're always happy to help you plan a magical stay. There are fantastic perks such as Military Salute Tickets and discounted rates at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.

    Don't miss Shades of Green Resort while you're on property; it's a military-only resort right in the heart of the Most Magical Place on Earth. I always enjoy shopping at the Exchange, and my family loves the ice cream there!
