    My husband is retiered military, our son and his wife and daughter are going to Disney World, we can't go but can we buy tickets for them at the military discounts offered?

    Hi Terri!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel. 

    In order to get the special 4 day promotional military tickets that are advertised on the Walt Disney World website, either your husband or you (as the spouse of a retired military person) would have to b present and show a military ID card. Sorry!

    However, you can also purchase discounted tickets at a local military base. They are not as good a deal as the 4 day promotional military tickets available at Walt Disney World, but they can be used like normal tickets and I have never seen a Disney Cast Member ask for ID. However, you will want to review the details at your local military base.
