Hi Mary Ann! Welcome to planDisney!
I dream of being able to live close by to the
Walt Disney World Resort one day! I hope you are enjoying your time there and have been taking advantage of the special discounts that are offered to Florida residents throughout the year. It seems like you have a special vacation lined up to host your children at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. I’m sure they are just as excited as you are to have them down.
If you booked your room reservation at a Disney Resort hotel using a special offer for Florida residents, you or your husband will need to
show proof of residency while checking in. Anyone else staying in your room, including your son and daughter, is not required to be a Florida resident. Just make sure that room occupancy allows for the number of Guests you plan on having stay with you.
Just a reminder, this is not the case for any Special Offer tickets that you may have purchased. Each person using a
Florida resident special ticket offer will be required to show proof of residency upon entering the parks. If you do plan on visiting the parks, make sure to check out some of the new experiences that are being offered. I can’t stop thinking about the new nighttime show,
Harmonious, taking place at
EPCOT. I was blown away by the firework display, projections, and the music. It’s a great show to see with the entire family!
Mary Ann, I hope you have a great getaway with your family! It doesn’t get better than visiting the
Most Magical Place on Earth with loved ones!
See ya real soon!
