Me and my husband has reservations for today 5/21 for disneyland. But we both are sick and cannot make it to the park. Can we reschedule/cancel?

Hi there, Shikhar. Welcome to planDisney. I'm glad you stopped by, but I am SO sorry to hear you are sick and won't make your reservation today. It was unclear whether you have a standard theme park ticket or a Magic Key Pass for Disneyland, so I am going to give you information for both, just in case!

If you have a standard theme park ticket and need to modify or cancel a park reservation, you have until 11:59 PM Pacific Time the night before the reservation to do so. Since your reservation was for today, you will need to wait until tomorrow before being able to reschedule your visit with a new park reservation.

If you have a Magic Key Pass and you fail to cancel by 11:59 PM Pacific Time the night before, your Magic Key will get a "no-show" if you don't make your theme park reservation. If you get three no-shows on your Magic Key in any 90-day window, you cannot make new park reservations or modify existing park reservations for 30 days.

Shikhar, this won't help with today's reservation, but to modify a future theme park reservation, find "Theme Park Reservations" on the My Disneyland tab of the Disneyland Resort website. Click on the blue "Make or Modify Park Reservation" button, and it will take you to a page of your Upcoming Theme Park Reservations. Click on "Modify Reservation" or "Cancel Reservation" on the right of the reservation you want to change. Before modifying or canceling any reservation, I highly suggest checking the calendar for availability for your new desired date and theme park. If you are a Magic Key holder, you can currently book theme park reservations three months in advance.

Shikar, I hope you and your husband are able to reschedule your visits soon. The Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration began last week, and Mickey and his friends have prepared so much fun! My favorite experiences include "World of Color Happiness" and "Tapestry of Happiness." I also love all of the color decor and the awesome new outfits some of our Disney pals have. Be sure to check the Hours & Events calendar on the Disneyland website or the Disneyland Mobile App for all the latest resort information.

I hope you feel better soon, Shikhar. Feel free to stop by anytime - we would love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
