    Hi! My husband and I have reservations at Old Key West in September but did not get the chance to buy park tickets before the closure. Will we be able to purchase tickets for our trip or is that unlikely to happen?a

    Hi, Katie!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation right now certainly is a whole new world!  Some aspects of our upcoming trips might be a little bit different from what we originally pictured, but one thing remains the same.  The magic will still be there when Walt Disney World Resort begins to once again welcome Guests to a world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.

    Currently, theme park ticket sales have been paused while the magic makers at Walt Disney World Resort get everything sorted out for Guests who had previously purchased their tickets.  We have been told that theme park tickets sales will resume later this summer.  I recommend following the Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest news and announcements.

    Katie, I hope that you will have the opportunity to purchase theme park tickets for your upcoming trip, but if that does not work out for you, I think you could still have a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation at Disney's Old Key West Resort.  Whether you're lounging by one of the resort's beautiful swimming pools or enjoying some comfort food at Olivia's Cafe, you're sure to delight in this resort hotel's tranquil atmosphere.  During your stay at Disney's Old Key West Resort, if you would like to enjoy the dining, shopping, and entertainment options at Disney Springs, you're just a quick boat ride away.

    Whether you end up visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks or just enjoying the amenities and recreational opportunities at your resort hotel, I'm sure that your vacation will be practically perfect in every way!  If you have any other questions about planning that perfect trip, feel free to visit us again.
