My husband and I have 6:50 reservations in MK for dinner on 12/18. The Christmas party I know starts at 7. I have tickets but my husband does not (he wanted to catch up on sleep that night). Will we be able to eat together and then he leaves right after?)

    Hello Shannon!

Congratulations on securing Advanced Dining Reservations in Magic Kingdom Park! I love attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom Park! The fireworks, the Holiday parade, cookies, hot cocoa, and the character meet and greets make this a fantastic party! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party officially starts at 7:00 pm.

Yes, your Advanced Dining Reservations in the Magic Kingdom Park at 6:50 pm before this unique special ticketed event begins should not be an issue as long as you have a Theme Park Reservation for the Magic Kingdom Park on that day. If you are still eating your dinner after 7:00 pm, you can still finish your meal leisurely. You will be able to go to Mickey's Very Merry CHristmas Party because you have purchased tickets for this amazing Holiday party, and your husband can exit the Magic Kingdom Park after your dinner. In my experience, if you do not have a wristband for this special event, you will be encouraged to make your way to the park exit. Remember that you will need a Theme Park Reservation to enter the Magic Kingdom Park if it is the first park of the day for you.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is incredible!
