Debra from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My husband and I have reservations for March 22-28th but will be traveling for most of the month of March before we arrive. How early are tickets sent to our CA home? Will we receive them before we need to leave on March 1?

Welcome, Debra, to planDisney, your one stop shop for all things Disney vacation planning! I love that you are planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, and I am happy to help bring a little clarity to your ticket question.

March sounds like an exciting month for you, with travel adventures leading right into a magical stay at the Disneyland Resort. The great news is that Disneyland has moved to a paperless ticket system, so there is no need to worry about tickets being mailed to your California home. You will not need to be waiting by the mailbox for any magical mail.

Your tickets will be delivered digitally, either by email or directly through the Disneyland mobile app. To check if your tickets are already linked, download or open the Disneyland app, tap the three lines in the bottom right corner, and select My Tickets and Passes. If your tickets are there, you are all set.

If you do not see them yet, never fear! Check the email address you used when you purchased your package or tickets. Look for an email, typically from Disney Destinations, that includes your ticket information with a barcode or ticket ID number. Once you have that, head back to the app, tap the blue plus sign under My Tickets and Passes, and scan the barcode or manually enter the ticket ID to link them to your account.

Next, you will want to confirm that your theme park reservations are set for each day of your visit. From the app homepage, scroll down to Upcoming Plans, tap My Day, then select Change Day. A calendar will appear, and any dates with existing reservations will show in purple.

I also wanted to share something special you may enjoy during your visit. The Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival runs from March 6 through April 27. This festival features creative marketplaces, delicious bites and beverages, and fun culinary demonstrations. The Sip and Savor Pass is a great option if you would like to sample your way through the festival and discover a few new favorites.

Debra, you are well on your way to a truly bibbity bobbity beautiful Disneyland visit. I hope you have safe and wonderful travels throughout March, and I would love for you to come back and visit us at planDisney if any other questions pop up along the way.

    See you real soon,

    Kimberly
