Hi, Melanie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am so excited to hear that your husband was able to make a reservation for
Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers! As of tomorrow, I will be 180 days away from my next family trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort. I am hoping to make reservations to build lightsabers with my young Padawans.
Normally the Savi's Workshop experience is limited to the builder and one guest. However, at the Walt Disney World Resort, children under the age of three are considered "Guests of Mickey." As such, these
littlest Mouseketeers are not required to purchase
theme park tickets, and they may accompany their parents/guardians during experiences such as Savi's Workshop. Although your little one can certainly visit Savi's Workshop with you and your husband, space inside the workshop is extremely limited. Therefore, you will most likely need to park your stroller outside.
If you have a front-pack baby carrier, I would definitely recommend bringing it with you when you visit the Walt Disney World Resort. This will come in handy for times when you must park your stroller, but want to keep your hands free while carrying your daughter. I know when my children were little, they would often snuggle close to me and fall asleep while riding in a front-pack carrier. Perhaps this would be a good solution for you when your family visits Savi's Workshop.
If your daughter needs a break after her visit to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, be sure to stop by the
Baby Care Center. Located within each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks, the Baby Care Centers are the perfect place to feed, change, and relax with your little one. My fellow Panelists and I have lots of experience visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with our own little Mouseketeers, so please stop back if you have any additional questions.
See ya real soon!
Samantha
