My husband will be renting an electric cart at Disney World. What do we do with it when waiting in line for rides?

Hey, Sandy! I am so glad you stopped by again with another great question. The electric conveyance vehicles, or ECVs, are such a welcome addition for guests who may need mobility assistance during their days in the parks. Walt Disney World Resort covers such a huge area, so I always encourage my friends and family to rent one as needed. They can definitely help take that Walt Disney World Resort vacation from practically perfect in every way to supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Many attractions will allow your husband to ride the ECV right into the attraction's queue and park it off to the side just before he boards. The Cast Members at each attraction entrance will help direct him to either the main entrance or an alternate entrance. If he does need to park it before entering the attraction's queue, the Cast Members will also be able to show him where to head. I broke my ankle a couple of summers ago, shortly before a trip to Walt Disney World Resort with my sister. I rented an ECV and found them very easy to steer through all guest areas, even those twisty, winding queues.

When you rent an ECV at the theme parks, you will be able to utilize it throughout the day, even during Extra Magic Hours. The batteries within the ECV are designed to last throughout the day, but please check with the Cast Member assisting you with your rental on the current locations within the park where you can get a quick charge if needed.

Thanks so much for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
