My husband is renting an ECV to get around the parks due to a knee operation. Where can he recharge this scooter while we are in the parks if it needs a charge?

Hello Diane and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such an important question about your upcoming magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
There's no getting away from the fact that Disney Theme Parks are expansive and without the accessibility of ECV Rentals some Guests would truly find traversing them a real challenge.
Although I've never personally used an Electric Convenience Vehicle myself I can certainly see the sense of independence and freedom which they bring to users like your dear husband after his knee operation.
I don't believe there are at present any designated ECV charging locations within the Disney Theme Parks.  However I'm sure if your ECV battery required an 'emergency' re-charge during your Disney day please feel free to ask a Cast Member if you could possibly plug-in whilst dining, or perhaps stop by an ECV Rental location to get a knowledgable Cast Members advice and guidance.  Plus of course be sure to bring along your ECV charger & cable with you!
Wishing you and your husband a visit to Walt Disney World Resort which is sure to be practically perfect in every way.
    Have a great Disney day.
