My husband and I registered for the Star Wars 5k. At the time of registration we didn't realize that we wouldn't be able to jog with our stroller (we have 2 young children). Any suggestions as to what to do with the kids? can we take turns running?

    Hi Virginia!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm sorry to hear that there was confusion when you registered.  It is for the safety of all runners that strollers are not allowed on the course.

My recommendation is to check out Kids Nite Out. (www.kidsniteout.com) This is an independent company that Disney recommends for childcare. I have used them for my boys in the past and LOVE them.  Many other moms on the panel have also been very satisfied with their service.  The sitter can come directly to your room.  This way your littles ones can continue to sleep as you get up early in the morning for your race.

I don't think it would be possible for you to take turns running.  All runners must start in a corral and there wouldn't be enough time for one of you to finish before the last corral begins.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions before your 5K!
