My husband is a registered Florida resident and I am not. I do own with my husband properties in Florida. Will that count as a Florida resident?

    Good day, Lyla!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question our way!

Your Walt Disney World vacation is quickly approaching! I'm here and happy to help you get the final details sorted out so that you can enjoy a magical vacation. Because Florida resident tickets can be purchased online, anyone 18 years or older will need to verify their Florida residency upon arrival at the Will-Call windows located in each Park. While the most convenient way to show proof of residency is with a valid Florida license or state ID, a complete list of alternatives can be found on the Florida Resident FAQ page. You mentioned you own a home in Florida, so you may also use a current insurance policy, utility bill, mortgage statement, or another document that lists your name and address. The document will need to be dated within the last two months and you’ll also need to bring a valid photo ID that shows your name matches the document. If your Florida property address is listed on your My Disney Experience profile, you may also be able to verify Florida residency online. The option to verify Florida residency will appear once you add the Florida resident ticket to your shopping cart. If the information matches, then it will prompt you with a message that you may skip the Will-Call window and go directly to the park with your ticket!

I hope this information is helpful for you as you get ready for your upcoming trip to “The Most Magical Place on Earth!” If you have further questions, please stop by planDisney again!
