Hi there, Tiffany! Welcome to planDisney!
One of the things that I love most about
Disneyland Resort is the way that they go above and beyond to
make the magic accessible to everyone. My son has autism, and when we visit the theme parks at Disneyland Resort, we use
Disability Access Service (DAS), an accommodation for Guests who, due to a disability, cannot wait in a typical queue environment. DAS has been so helpful for my son, and now that we have the ability to
pre-register for DAS, it's even more convenient.
If you need to change your
theme park reservations, this will not affect your husband's DAS registration. Before you cancel your park reservations, you'll want to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar to make sure the park you wish to reserve is available. If the calendar is showing availability, you can go ahead and cancel your current park reservations and book new reservations for the other park. There's no need for your husband to re-register for DAS.
Once you have your theme park reservation plans squared away, if your husband wants to book his DAS Advance selections, he can click on this
DAS Advance link and scroll down to the "Request Live Chat" button. Once a chat is requested, a Cast Member can help your husband select up to two DAS Advance experiences per day (based on availability). These selections will be in addition to the DAS return times that you can request using your
Disneyland mobile app on the day of your theme park visit.
Tiffany, if you think of any additional questions while you're getting ready for your trip to The Happiest Place on Earth, please visit us again. Have a magical day!
Samantha
