My husband and I registerd for marathon weekend 2014. We are currenlty annual passholders but our passes expire in 12/2013. The packages through Run Disney include Magic Your Way tickets. Can we purchase a package and upgrade our tickets to annual passes?

    Hi Denise!

This is a great question, and I've been doing some research:)  From what I have seen, you should be able to upgrade your Magic Your Way tickets to an Annual Pass at one of the Guest Relations Booths at Walt Disney World.  I did find this information about upgrading tickets which would make me a little nervous: "Disney will not allow you to upgrade certain promotional tickets not available to the general public or any partially used ticket purchased prior to the January 2005 introduction of Magic Your Way tickets".    The Magic Your Way tickets for marathon weekend are not discounted, but they aren't necessarily available to the general public, either.

If I were you, I would call the AP information number, (407) 560-PASS, and ask them about the runDisney travel operator tickets.

If you can upgrade, it has to be done at a Guest Relations booth at Walt Disney World.

I hope this helps, and I hope it works out for you!!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
