    My husband and I want to register for the 2016 marathon and half marathon. I see that registration opens for the events on April 28th 2015. But when do you think we should make our hotel reservations with Disney? Thanks

    It's never too early to begin making your accommodation reservations for a runDisney race weekend. Especially if you want to ensure you get the resort or room category you desire. My advice would be to book now. However, it is also important to keep an eye on the Travel Tab on runDisney website for any travel packages that may become available as we race through the year and discounts are announced.

    Another great tip is to watch for special offers that will be released sometime in October through Walt Disney World®. These offers will include dates during Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna® and could provide you considerable savings. The great thing is if you book now and a promotion is released at a later date, you can modify your current reservation to reflect the new pricing.
