Hi Madeline!
We are so glad to have you onboard at planDisney. I’m so sorry to hear about your unexpected expenses that are making it necessary to cancel your Disney cruise. These things do happen, and hopefully, you can make plans to sail with Captain Mickey again very soon.
Thankfully you are far enough out from your sail date that you won’t incur any cancellation fees. Currently,
for sailing after March 31, 2022, one to five night bookings require a payment in full at least 90 days prior to departure. By my calculations, you have not yet had to make your final payment in full, so you have up until that date to cancel without any fees.
That said, you DO have to
speak to a Disney Cruise Line representative in order to cancel your reservation, and that does mean potentially waiting on hold a while. I have found that hold times are generally better during the week instead of the weekend and also first thing in the morning.
Madeline, I WISH
planDisney had a SHELL phone you could call us on for more questions! We are always willing to chat about Disney Cruise Line...even if it means we do that by sending messages to each other on the internet. So once you are in a position to make another Disney cruise reservation again, I hope you will enlist our help in all your cruise planning.
SEA ya real soon!
Sherry
