Hi there, Josie!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with your question about your Walt Disney World Resort
theme park tickets. It sounds like (most of) your family is planning to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth - how exciting! Are you counting down the days yet!? I'm happy to help you sort out your ticket troubles!
Josie, theme park tickets that are wholly unused can be
reassigned to individuals connected via each other's
Family & Friends Lists in
My Disney Experience. To reassign your tickets, your husband must log in to his Disney account on the Walt Disney World Resort website and ensure that the individuals who will be reassigned tickets are reflected in his Family & Friends List. Next, your husband should hover over "My Disney Experience" and select "
My Plans." On this page, he will scroll down and select the tab titled "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." Here, he should see the theme park tickets he purchased (currently assigned to his account), along with a drop-down menu allowing him to "Reassign Ticket." At this point, he can select the individuals to whom he'd like to reassign the tickets. Once the transfer is complete, he'll see a confirmation of the reassignment displayed! Josie, this process can also easily be done on the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Once your theme park tickets have been assigned to the correct individuals, be sure to make
theme park reservations for the theme parks you intend to visit on each day of your trip. Also, if you have any issues with reassigning your theme park tickets, you can always reach out to the helpful Cast Members at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ phone line for assistance!
Josie, I'm wishing you and your family members a very special and memorable visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any additional planning questions, please stop back by planDisney again anytime - we're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
