My husband and I purchased our tickets already and he qualifies for DAS but we are going with family. They have not bought their tickets yet but do they need to purchase their tickets on the same account or just link the tickets to ours?

To all who come to planDisney, welcome. Thanks for visiting us with this question, Desiree. Preparations are in order for your upcoming visit and we're here to help. Let's chat about your question so you feel prepared for your visit.

One of the reasons that my husband and I absolutely love visiting Disneyland is how inclusive and accessible the parks are for all Guests. Disability Access Service (DAS) is a service for Guests who are not able to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time due to a developmental disability like Autism. Guests can apply for this service ahead of their visit via live video chat (up to 60 days in advance) or on-site at an Accessibility Services Kiosk. Before applying, you must have your theme park tickets purchased with everyone's ticket in your party linked. The tickets don't have to be purchased with the same MyDisney account, but they must be linked to the account that will be using DAS.

You can link tickets in the Disneyland app faster than you can say, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." Open the Disneyland app and tap the "☰" to open the menu. Next, tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile and then the "+" in the upper right corner. Lastly, tap "Link Tickets & Passes" and choose your favorite method for adding a ticket. Mine is using the camera to scan the ticket barcode. And just like that, you're ready to go! If you've already applied for DAS, I recommend sending an email using the link found at the bottom of the page for Services for Guests with Disabilities. A friendly Cast Member can share what steps need to be taken (if any) to make sure your entire party is linked for DAS.

If you haven't already, I also recommend checking out the Services for Guests with Disabilities. This is a really great resource to see what options and tools might be available to help make your visit more comfortable, convenient and accessible. This is where my husband and I discovered the handheld device that offers Audio Description for select attractions and navigation that has enhanced our visits ever since.

Desiree, I hope this is helpful as you're putting your plans together for your visit. Please come back to see us with any other questions that you might have. Until then, here's wishing you a wonderful time making core memories at the Happiest Place on Earth!
