My husband and I just purchased our park tickets. I’m having a hard time linking them to my disney experience account. Can you please help me? It might just be user error. I’m wanting to do this so I can buy us magic bands.

Hi Shelby! Thanks for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. First off, congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World!

Depending on where you purchased your tickets, you may need to use a different ID Number to correctly link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account. For instance, your ticket may have 12-digit ID Number, a 17-digit ID Number or a 20-digit ID Number. Here’s a helpful link that will hopefully get you on the right path.

However, if this still doesn't help you, I recommend reaching out to Guest Services by phone and they will be able to help link your tickets (wherever you purchased them) to your account. Also, just a heads up that if the purchase date printed on your ticket is prior to 2010, you’ll definitely need to talk to a Cast Member at Guest Services.

In either scenario, don’t fret, as a Cast Member will be able to work their magic and you’ll be well on your way to purchasing a MagicBand for your upcoming vacation. In fact, might I recommend the red one… it’s my “go-to” color.

If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
