Hello, Gina!
Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question, and welcome to the Magic Key family! Being a Magic Key holder means you can easily access the magic of Disneyland Resort many times throughout the year!
The
Disneyland Resort Rules state that Guests under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older to enter a Theme Park. Since your daughter is 14 years old, she should be able to activate her Magic Key pass without you as long as it is not a blockout date for her pass. Make sure her name is listed on the pass and add it to her Disneyland mobile app. She also needs to
make a theme park reservation ahead of time. The Cast Member at the Disneyland entrance will take a photo of her to associate it with her new pass. Your daughter may want to bring some form of photo identification just in case there are any questions about who she is. Hopefully, it is not needed, but it is best to be prepared!
If your family purchased
Imagine Keys, which are only available for Southern California Residents living in zip codes 90000 to 93599, family members aged 18 and above will need to show a valid government-issued ID with their Southern California address upon using their Magic Key pass for the first time.
Did you know
many exciting events are happening at Disneyland Resort in 2024, such as the Star Wars celebration, Season of the Force? This fun event takes place from April 5 through June 2, 2024, and includes limited-time food and merchandise, plus thrilling additions to two beloved attractions. Travel to a galaxy far, far away on Hyperspace Mountain, and jump to lightspeed on new adventures aboard Star Tours – The Adventures Continue! Later this year, enjoy
Halloween Time and the
Holidays at Disneyland Resort!
Gina, I am so glad your family has joined the Magic Key family! Please contact planDisney again if you have other questions!
Magic Happens!
