Hello there, Kathy!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to ask us a question about your
Disneyland Resort tickets. I’m glad to hear you want to plan a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your family!
It sounds like your husband purchased the
Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket offer while on base. These specially-priced tickets are a wonderful way for military families to enjoy magical time together in the theme parks, and I’m so sorry to hear your plans for a May vacation have changed.
However, you do have a couple of options. If you’re able to travel at a different time this year, your
theme park reservations can be rescheduled and the tickets will remain valid through December 13, 2024 when this year’s promotion ends. Additionally, if you are a military spouse with a valid identification card that verifies your status, you are able to enter the parks using the promotional tickets without your husband present. The bottom line is that someone with an applicable military ID must accompany your group to activate the tickets upon first use. After that, you’re able to enter the parks without a military member or military spouse on all subsequent days the ticket is used.
I deeply appreciate your husband’s service to our nation, Kathy! I hope this answers your question and that you’re able to enjoy a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation soon. Please feel free to
write back if you need any more information.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
