Hi Diane, welcome to planDisney!
Once upon a time, a man by the name of Walt Disney dreamed of a place where children and adults could have fun together. That dream opened in Orlando, Florida, in 1971. Walt Disney World is currently celebrating its
50th Anniversary and the
Carousel of Progress shows no signs of slowing down. This is evidenced by innovative new attractions like
Rise of the Resistance at Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. At least once on every Disney vacation I find myself pondering, "What will they think of next?!"
Several years ago, Walt Disney World Resort moved to
date-based ticket pricing that requires tickets to be used within a designated time frame. I understand you are in possession of some truly magical admission tickets that do not have an expiration date. This tells me you purchased your tickets before 2010. Let me tell you why that matters.
Valid admission linked in
My Disney Experience, a
theme park reservation for each person for each park day, and a
method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are currently required for theme park entry. When linking tickets
online, Guests with purchase dates before 2010 are asked to call (407) 939-4357 so a Cast Member can verify the status of their tickets. Cast Members are the heart of The World's Most Magical Celebration and I'm confident they'll be able to help you modernize any remaining magic in your non-expiring tickets, Diane. You can also start the conversation by filling out this
online form, just be sure to select "Linking My Existing Tickets" as the subject.
Once your tickets are linked in My Disney Experience, you can take a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and make your theme park reservations. Then it's time to start dreaming big. Being the meat in a
Mickey and Minnie sandwich?
Sweets and fireworks? If you can dream it, you can do it!
You've got dreams, planDisney's got answers. We're happy to help anytime.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
