My husband purchased adult tickets for our children (all tickets, ours and the childrens’, were purchased thru his union discount).Do they need to be switched to child tickets or can we use adult tickets for our kids? I don’t want to miss park reservation

Hello Melinda! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled to see that you've stopped by with a planning question for us.

I'm happy to share with you that you are all okay to use adult tickets for your children. You will not have any issue using adult tickets for children when you go to scan into the park. This is usually pretty standard for corporate and special discounts where a lot of times the discounted tickets are adult tickets. This is the same for our family when we purchase the Disney Military Promotional Tickets and our kids' tickets are adults as well. Now you won't have to worry about canceling or changing any theme park ticket reservations either. You are good to go!

You'll be heading to the parks during the few days between Halloween and the holidays, but lucky for you Haunted Mansion Holiday will still be welcoming Guests to see what Jack Skellington has been up to as he decked the halls of the mansion.

I also want to make sure that you know that this week MagicBand+ will be launching at Disneyland Resort! We are so excited to finally have this technology here. It is not required for Guests to enter or use within the park, but if you are familiar with the bands at Walt Disney World I'm sure you know how convenient they can be. You can learn all about what features will be available for them at Disneyland Resort and if it's something you might be interested in getting for you and your family.

Melinda, I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. See you real soon!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
