Can my husband purchase the military discount tickets and me and my daughter use them without him being with us? I would have his identification card on me.

Hey there, hi there, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you're here!

I am excited to hear that you are planning a visit to Disneyland soon with your daughter and it sounds like you are hoping to use the Disney Military Promotional Tickets. I've got great news for you! These tickets can be purchased and used by the eligible military member or spouse. This means you will be able to enjoy a mother-and-daughter day and show your military ID at the gate when you scan in for the first time. No need to bring your husband's ID. I just did this a few weeks ago when I took my daughter for her birthday!

Don't forget once you purchase your tickets, you will need to link them to the Disneyland app and then make theme park ticket reservations for both tickets. Both your ticket and reservation are needed for entry.

I did see your upcoming visit is on February 9, 2025, and I wanted to be sure that you saw that Disneyland Park will be closing early that night to Guests because there is a special ticketed Disneyland After Dark event. That shouldn't be too big of an issue because Disney Military Promotional Tickets are park hoppers, so you'll be able to enjoy Disney California Adventure Park as well that night until it closes.

Jennifer, I hope you and your daughter have a magical visit! See you real soon!

All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
