Ahoy, Megan!
Congratulations on planning your very first Disney Cruise - you're in for a real treat! Disney Cruise Line treats guests like a VIP from the moment they step aboard. You're sure to make many magical memories when you sail with Captain Mickey and his crew!
No need to worry about your daughter being too young to enjoy her time onboard - there's plenty of fun in store for even the youngest cruisers! As long as your little one is fully potty trained, at age three she'll be able to visit the Oceaneer Club and Lab. The
Youth Clubs are staffed with amazing cast members that entertain and interact with young guests, keeping each child engaged and comfortable.
You can register your daughter for Disney's Oceaneer Club when you check in at the terminal, or once you board the ship. Upon boarding, on Embarkation Day, you'll need to visit the Oceaneer Club to fill out any final paperwork. Your daughter will receive a wristband that gains her entry to the club. You'll also be able to tour the facility, meet the Youth Counselors and learn all about the fun activities planned for your little princess!
The Youth Clubs provide a safe, fun space for your child while you and your hubby have time to explore the ship on your own - perhaps a visit to the spa or the Quiet Cove pool! Your daughter can also hang out in the club while you dine at one of Disney Cruise Line's adult-exclusive restaurants.
There are also plenty of family activities you can all enjoy together. A Disney Cruise is the perfect place to find fun and happiness for all ages!
I hope this helps answer your question - you're never too young (or old) to enjoy all a Disney Cruise has to offer.
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
