Christine from Victoria Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My Husband and I have previously held Annual Passes and realize these are no longer available. What would be a another similiar Ticket that would offer the same access we had to the Park before?. We are plannning on coming to America later this year.

Hi Christine! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

If you haven't been to the Happiest Place on Earth in a little while, Magic Keys are Disneyland Resort's annual passes, which come in a variety of types, offering different levels of access to the parks for the year. Magic Key holders have magical perks, discounts, and exclusives available to them. Disneyland Resort Guests can choose at the moment between the Inspire Key, Believe Key, and Enchant Key. Additionally, there is the Imagine Key, which is exclusively for Southern California residents. Each of these Magic Keys has its own calendar with blockout dates and benefits, and they're all subject to availability. Unfortunately, the sale of all Magic Keys is currently paused, which sometimes happens.

I don't know when the sale of Magic Keys will open up again. I wish I did! If you're interested in becoming a Magic Key holder, you can ensure you receive news of the sale by updating your Profile under "My Disneyland" on the Disneyland Resort website to make sure you're receiving all communications from Disneyland Resort. I also suggest following the Disney Parks Blog, which is the official source for news about the parks.

However, in addition to an admission ticket, all Guests currently need a theme park reservation to enter the parks, and Magic Key holders have to make a theme park reservation just the same as standard admission ticket holders, and none of the Magic Keys offer access to the parks without blockout days at the moment. So, your purchase of anywhere from 1-day to 5-day admission tickets will still offer you great access to the parks along with theme park reservations booked in advance and available on a rolling basis. Additionally, you'll have the option to select a Park Hopper to visit both parks in a day, giving you great flexibility and the Disney Genie+ Service, which lets you spend less time in queues and more time experiencing the magic.

You're going to have the best time! If it's been a while since your last visit, you'll find so many new things to experience. Disneyland Resort has been celebrating Disney100, and if you're visiting at the end of the year, you'll find the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is underway, bringing extra joy to the season. Check out Disney Eats to plan all your festive snacking and beverage choices as your holiday approaches. I can't wait to see what jolly treats are in store!

I hope this helps. Have a magical day.
