    Hi there, my husband and I are preplanning our vacation for 2026 and would like to know when I can purchase tickets for May 2026?

    Hello Samantha and welcome to planDisney!

    Oh boy! Just thinking about Disney vacation planning sets my heart aflutter. You are so smart to start thinking about your trip now. For me, planning is a big part of the fun of a trip to Walt Disney World.

    If past events are a predictor of future events, I would anticipate 2026 dates to become available in February or March. Not too long of a wait! In the meantime, I recommend spending some time perusing the incredible Disney Resort hotel options as well as dining options. I must admit, my park plans often center around where I want to dine! In case you are wondering, Tiffins located in Disney's Animal Kingdom park is our current favorite.

    In my experience, the Disney Parks Blog is the best place to watch for upcoming announcements, including when dates become open for booking. It always has the latest news and great planning tips.
