Cheryl from UT Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My husband and I were Premiere Pass holders before the pandemic. I would LOVE to renew my AP to WDW. We are coming next week for our anniversary!!

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Cheryl!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for sending us your question! Oh my goodness Cheryl, your trip is coming so soon! How excited are you? And what a special occasion to celebrate at the Walt Disney World Resort! I am so excited for you to experience The World's Most Magical Celebration and I am honoured to be a part of your planning process.

Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic really changed all of our plans, but thankfully the magic has returned to the Walt Disney World Resort with enhanced sanitation practices and readily available sanitation stations! Now, let's talk about how you can return to the magic as well! If you are still within your renewal period for your Annual Pass, this would be the best way to acquire one. You can renew your Annual Pass up to 30 days after your pass' expiration date, but if your pass is expired, you, unfortunately, would not be able to purchase a new one at this time. Indeed, the sale of Annual Passes is currently paused meaning that although existing Annual Passes can be renewed, you would not be able to purchase a new one after yours has expired. However, one thing I learned from going to the parks so often is that things are always subject at the Walt Disney World Resort, and you truly never know when things will come back! In this case, I would highly recommend following the social media pages of the Walt Disney World Resort, or keeping an eye on Disney Parks Blog as these accounts are usually the first to announce new offerings returning. That way, you will know exactly when the Annual Passes will be sold again as soon as we get more information! Plus, if Disney were to announce that Annual Passes were being sold again after you had purchased theme park tickets for your next visit, you would be able to upgrade those tickets to an Annual Pass and only pay for the price difference! This can be done at a ticketing window at the main entrance of any of the four parks, or at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.

Now, Cheryl, you probably have everything ready for your magical celebration, but don't forget that you can add an extra touch of magic to your stay! Indeed, Disney Floral & Gifts allows you to have flowers, balloons and gift baskets delivered to your room. These offerings can be purchased online or on the phone with a Dream Maker. Also, make sure to pick up your free "Happily Ever After" or "I'm Celebrating" buttons at the front desk of your resort or at most merchandise locations. There are so many ways to make your anniversary special, and I cannot wait for you two to create memories that will last a lifetime!

I hope this was helpful, Cheryl, and that you have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. In the meantime, I am wishing upon a star that Annual Passes come back real soon so that you can experience the magic all year. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, don't hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to help!

    Have a magical day,
