Hello, my husband and I are pooh sized. I am 250 pounds and 5'7 and my husband is 275 pounds 5'10. Will we have any issues on the rides?

    ChEARs Anne,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing your concerns to us. I hope that I can put them at ease once we are done. Guess what? I think the world would be a very dull place if we all looked like Disney Princesses! Eeyore has been my main squeeze since I was an it-bit, and Doc and I have more than a few things in common!

There are so many attractions at Walt Disney World that are ideally suited to you both. While some rides have height and health restrictions, there are no specific weight requirements. A few ride vehicles may not be suited for all body types; these are typically the "thrill" rides with safety restraints. Most of the attractions that require these restraints have a "test seat" out front to preview you, so no worries! Most of the attractions have bench-like seating that can accommodate all body shapes - from mermaids to honey bEARs!

Once you pick your must-do attractions (Slinky Dog Dash, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, and Soarin' Around the World are huge hits in my book), make sure to take advantage of the complimentary FastPass+ service. I use the My Disney Experience app to keep track, and then pick additional Fastpasses once I'm done with my original three. It is one of the BEST ways to plan your day!

Anne, you and your husband are going to have a fantastic time! I know by the end of this trip you will be just like Pooh and Christopher Robin when they said, "We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun."
