    My husband plans on running his first half and I plan on running the full during the Marathon Weekned in January. My 2 year old son enjoys watching us run and always wants to run with us. How old do kids need to be to participate in the kids fun run?

    Hi Mercedes!  It sounds like you have a really fun weekend planned!

    The kids races are so much fun and there are races for all ages.  They will receive a t-shirt, personalized bib, medal, and refreshments.  It really makes them feel like one of the "runners".  My boys loved doing the Kids races!   Here is the breakdown:

    runDisney Kids' Races Age Groups

    • 12 months and under - Diaper Dash for crawlers
    • 1-3 years old - 100m dash
    • 4-6 years old - 200m dash
    • 7-8 years old - 400m dash
    • Mickey Mile - Open to all children 13 years old & under

    There is also a Family Fun 5K that is for all ages, young and old!
