My husband and I are planning to come to Disney world next week, and little worried about money for snacks. Is it ok if we bring in outside food or water? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Christina! Welcome to planDisney!

You and your husband are going to have such a special vacation together next week! My husband and I have taken adult-only trips to the Walt Disney World Resort many times and we always have the BEST time. Last month we planned a quick getaway to enjoy the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and I'm so glad we did. It was delicious and lots of happy memories were made!

You'll be happy to know that, yes, you are welcome to bring snacks and water with you into the theme parks! Not only is this a great way to keep your energy up and stay hydrated, but it is easy on the budget, too! There are a few Park Rules to keep in mind like no alcoholic beverages, no glass containers (except for small ones like baby food jars), no loose ice (ice packs or ice contained in a water bottle or zipped bag is fine), and no bags larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. You can read all of the Park Rules at the link I included for you above.

There are water fountains in all four theme parks to refill your water bottles, with water bottle refill stations in Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom as well. You can ask for complimentary cups of ice water at Quick-Service locations and use those to refill your water bottles, too. Trust me, the cold water is SO refreshing in the Florida heat!

I hope this helps, Christina! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
