My husband and I are planning a 25 year anniversary trip in Sept. 2011 and can't decide which hotel to stay in. What is your recommendation? Animal Kingdom, Contemporary, Yacht Club, Coronado?

Hi Ann!  Wow, what a great anniversary trip!  I would highly recommend the Yacht Club for your resort choice.  This is a more quiet resort versus its sister next door, the Beach Club.  The lobby isn't quite as busy and the atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful.  With it being in the deluxe category you will find all the great amenities such as full service restaurants, larger rooms, lounges, and great recreation opportunities.  There is also a wonderful health club where you can get massage treatments.  Next door to that is the Periwigs  Salon if you are in the mood for a manicure, pedicure, or hair style!  Since it is still warm in September you will also be able to enjoy the best pool on property called Stormalong Bay. This is a large and fun area with sandy bottoms.  If you want something a bit more quiet there is another pool at the far end of the resort that is a great place to get away from noise and crowds.

The biggest reason the Yacht Club would be my choice for you is the location. You can walk in just a few minutes to EPCOT using the International Gateway entrance.  So you will have an abundant amount of dining choices within a short walk of your room.  Across the water you can find some great night time entertainment. My favorite is Jellyrolls where there are dueling pianos every night!  If you need to catch a sporting game on tv head over to ESPN Zone for a quick bite!

Hollywood Studios is just a mile walk away along the path that parallels the water canal.  We like to walk to the park in the morning and then take the boat back in the afternoon when the temperatures are a bit warmer and your feet a bit more tired!

You can't go wrong with any Disney resort but for your trip I highly suggest the Yacht Club!
